Grotto Bay looks out over the calm waters of the Banks side of Long Island. Conditions are perfect for any type of water sport.
Guests have complimentary use of our four kayaks. Two of these are actually scuba-kayaks. In addition, we provide snorkeling equipment and can make available a windsurfer and 12-foot sailboat.
If the conditions are good, we can also offer water-skiing (extra charge) -- right off of our own beach!
Our Dusky motorboat is used for water-skiing, and our lovable resident retriever, Salty, is always ready to hop aboard!
Have you ever played beach horseshoes?
We actually have a regulation horseshoe court, right on the beach.
Sorry, the bikini-babe is not included!
Also, we can set up a volleyball net for energetic groups staying with us.
